There will be a dedicated website, due to open mid-september.
I googled for stuff in English about it, and happened upon this, apparently written by an enthusiast:
The yearly Nuit Blanche is probably nothing new for the french people on this site, or foreigners living in Paris or tourists repeatingly returning. But for the others, people that will be in Paris the 7 and 8th of october or who maybe plan to come I thought it could be intresting to tell a bit of this phenomenon, and also for the others already into this event it could be intresting to get some suggestions on what can be worth to see this night.
The concept of Nuit Blanche or the sleepless night is to make culture availble to everyone, this is done by once a year by keeping cultural Paris awake the whole night. This meaning most tourist attraction, museums, cinemas and yes even swimmingpools beeing open all night entrance free. And ofcause the metro run until the morning to make it possible to connect to all the areas in Paris, cause every district of the city has something to offer or rather allot, sevreal small and big events going on everywhere, and also Paris will be in lights all night. Not only in Paris things are happening, there will be avents also in Versailles, Saint-ouen-L’Aumône and Gentilly (the RER will be going there). The theme of this years Nuit Blance is divirsity and crossbreeding, something the responsible for this years events call a very importent part of the Paris spirit.
There are so many events going to happen (the strangest might be the underwater concert that will be held in the swimmingpool on Saine) that its impossible for me to bring them all up, and many of the artists I know very little about, not to say nothing. So for those more into this event or that knows of the artists it would be great to get some suggestions on what to see and do!
The program can be found on
http://www.paris.fr/portail/Culture/Portal.lut?page_id=6968 sadly only in french.
Best Regards
Emma
