I’m a journalist based in London and I’m writing an article on roller disco, and roller skating in general, for the women’s freesports magazine Cooler, which is published by Action Sports Media in the UK, France and Germany.

If you go to Friday Night Fever or any other roller skate events I'd love to know what they are, why you go, what the appeal is, what people wear, and basically why you think skating is cool.

As well as writing about the Friday Night Fever skate the article will include a big section on roller disco. So if you know of any roller discos (by this I mean anywhere where people gather to skate to music, could be inside or out) in France (and Germany), then please let me know.

In order to use this information I’ll need to know your full name, age, and your involvement in roller or in-line skating (how did you get into it, etc.), and where you are from.
