Just heard I get to come to Paris on the next weekend (WEEHAA!) so I gotta come to see FNS as well for sure! Now I realize the metros are closing a bit early so could anyone hint me a nice and affordable ( <60 EUR) hostels/hotels in the neighbourhood (< 3 km) of Montparnasse, the finishing point of the skate?

Hope the weather will be good so I'll get to see Paris on wheels!

there is one just behind my school(44€ the night), @ Porte D'italie (30 min from montparnasse with rollers)

I'm sure you can find some for 30€ or less if you're OK with cheap service...

There's a hostel I just heard about, downtown Paris, relatively close to the start (same district, the 15th):

Rates from 15€ (groups, low season) to 25€ (double room, high season).

I have no connection, and haven't tried them. But thought this info might be useful...
