I live in Paris and I am looking for great places for my children (10 & 11 yrs. old) to rollerblade. My son likes grinding, pipes, jumps etc. Can anyone recommmend any places, preferably free and outdoors. I hear that there is somewhere at La Defense that is free and outdoors, but I'm not exactly sure where in La Defense. If anyone could give me some guidance I would appreciate it.

Thanks,
RobbeeeJ

hello RobeeeJ,
if you are in paris indoor, there is a spot with several possibility for jumps, pipes , several size. It's under the aerial metro, and the station is Chevaleret. It's free and there are a lot of young riders wednesday, and other is quiet.

CLICK HERE for the "rollerenligne" list of parisian spots, classified by discipline. For your son who likes grinding, ramps, etc, the spots you want are the ones with the ramp logo: Image IPB

Among these, I've heard good things about the Bercy skatepark(click here for info.

But then, what do I know, I'm an old fart practising (poorly) fitness skating... tongue.gif

you can go to bercy's rollerpark too. they are pipes etc and you have the POPB with lots of grinders in skateboard or rollerskate.
